History of the Swimming Club:  

Swimming club "Markovi Kuli"- Prilep is founded in August 1998 on the initiative of the former swimmers from our town, gym professors, parents, children.This year is the 10^th year universary since the existence of the swimming club.  Club is active in July and August.
Trainings are in the 50m pool and in the small 12m pool.
Beginnings of the trainings are from 10 - 12 o'clock every day.
Swimming coaches are: Professor Ilija Angeleski and Professor Vasko Gajtanoski
Most accomplished results are: 
In 2001:
Participation in pioneer competition in Small Ohrid marathon of 2.5km
1.Darko Aceski with time 48min.
In 2002:
Participation in younger pioneer category in Small Ohrid marathon of 2.5km
1.Marko Bogdanceski with time of 49min.
Participation in older pioneer category in Small Ohrid marathon of 2.5km
1.Mihail Jovanoski with time of 48min
2.Darko Aceski with time of 54min - second participation. 

Taken in average in Prilep there are many people who can't swim, that's why every summer we are taking action for swimming school which is working the whole season with duration of 10 days. The training is in the small pool with special items -floats, which helps the children in their training.
